Helicopter in the rescue version used by TOPR - Tatrza&nacute;skie Ochotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe

(eng: Tatra Mountain Volunteer Rescue Service).

TOPR uses his helicopter not only for rescue operations in the Polish and Slovak Tatra Mountains, but also in other mountain ranges or in disasters, like this years flood.

Why I built it?

This product idea was born when I was hiking in Tatra Mountains on August 11 on one of the most difficult trails - Orla Per&cacute;.

After 6 hours of hiking, I heard the characteristic sound of helicopter. When your hear such a sound in the high parts of mountains, you know that someone needs urgent help and the rescuer's' journey on foot would be too long or it would be impossible to carry down the injured person.

Why I believe it would be great LEGO set?

This is the most recognizable Polish helicopter.

Volunteer Mountain Rescue has been operating in Poland since 1909 and is very important in helping and saving the lives of hikers and tourists.
