This enchanting scene displays a gathering of brick-built woodland creatures in a lush clearing overlooked by mighty trees.

In the centre, a majestic stag stands tall while a fox scurries past below. A badger emerges from its home in the ground as a rabbit hops along nearby. Squirrels and birds nestle in the trees above.

Growing up near a small area of woodland, I was always fascinated by the rare glimpses of the woodland creatures we would see. This idea aims to recreate the magic of seeing these animals in the wild in brick form.

The proposed creatures are:

Red deer stag ( Cervus elaphus )
Red fox ( Vulpes vulpes )
European badger ( Meles meles )
Rabbit ( Oryctolagus cuniculus )
Tawny owl ( Strix aluco )
Red squirrel ( Sciurus vulgaris )
Great spotted woodpecker ( Dendrocopos major )

Don't miss the bonus snail and frog hiding in the undergrowth!

This was a lot of fun to design, and I think it could become a great set. Featuring highly detailed animals, trees and foliage, this would be a diverse and engaging building experience that would result in a delightful display piece.

Inspired by the remarkable creatures that call the woods their home, this idea would be a perfect set for anyone who loves nature.
