Created by Alex Hirsch in 2012, Gravity Falls is a critically acclaimed series following the adventures of twelve year old twin siblings Dipper and Mabel Pines as they spend a summer at their great uncle Stan's tourist trap in Roadkill County, Oregon. This build is based on the Mystery Shack where the twins are staying when they begin to uncover the many paranormal mysteries of Gravity Falls.
The objective of this build was to capture the iconic architecture of the Mystery Shack while filling it with smaller details and references; making it a recognizable piece worthy of display as well as being an interactive set for hands on play. It contains 1181 pieces that all come together to create the Mystery Shack, five minifigures, the totem pole, and the golf cart.
The show itself is filled with engaging humor, charming animation, well developed characters, and captivating plots that come together to create a thoughtfully crafted, overarching storyline. Gravity Falls is truly a one-of-a-kind show that is well deserving of its own Lego set.
