“Mom! Greygo built our house out of Lego!”
Background Info:
As a kid, my siblings and I would always watch Phineas and Ferb together. We were so intrigued by whatever adventures were taking place in Phineas and Ferb’s backyard, and the ongoing battles between Perry and Doctor Doofenshmirtz. It was such a fun show to watch back then, and still remains one of my favorite shows today. This show is filled with so many fun and weird things, and that's why I thought it would make a great Lego set. So, I hope you all like it!
I first started this project back in 2020 when I was 12 and too young to have my own Lego Ideas account. So later that year, I submitted it to Lego Ideas through my dad’s account (
Blaze Firestormer
) where I had been submitting all of my other ideas at the time. Sadly it expired with 1,897 supporters, and so I started rebuilding it in 2022, when I was old enough to have my own Lego Ideas account. I have rebuilt this a few times now in order to keep it under the maximum piece limit as well as to incorporate some of the most memorable aspects of Phineas and Ferb.
Features:
This build includes
2,999 pieces
as well as
eight mini-figures
(Phineas, Ferb, Candace, Agent P, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Isabella, Baljeet, and Buford) with accessories. The first floor of the house contains the entryway, “Candace’s chair and telephone”, the kitchen, the dining room, and the garage. Moving up to the second floor, you’ll find Candace’s bedroom, alongside Phineas and Ferb’s shared bedroom. In addition to the house, this design includes several iconic elements from Phineas and Ferb, such as the tree in their backyard, Dr. Doofenshmirtz'
“Inator”
,
“The Flying Car of the Future Today,”
and
“Portal to Mars”
.
Accessibility
:
The house itself has a lot of helpful features for
easy access
. You can remove the entire roof to get to the first floor. Two roof panels and windows are also removable allowing you to reach Candace’s room, as well as Phineas and Ferb’s room. The back of the house contains
two hinged walls
, as well as a garage door that all open and allow easy access to the interior of the house. One more thing, "there's 104 days of summer vacation" so I have set myself a chalenging
goal.
Let's see if we can get this project to
10k within 104 days!
