The Stargate

My Stargate design is on the verge of reaching 10,000 supporters once again, so I thought it would be a good idea to consolidate the updates it’s had to date, and produce new photos for the remainder of its run.

My project includes seven minifigures, although I’m also using dual printed heads to represent two additional characters without increasing the minifig count. This will allow you to choose to display whichever SG-1 crew you prefer (thanks to a handful of extra hair pieces as well):

Season 1-5: Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal’c;

Season 6: Older Jack, Sam, Jonas and Teal’c;

Season 7: Older Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal’c;

Season 8: Older Jack, Sam, Daniel and Teal’c with hair;

Seasons 9-10: Cameron, Sam, Daniel and Teal’c

The three other minifigs are Vala (who became a recurring and then a regular character in later seasons), a Serpent Jaffa guard, and a Prior.

All the protagonists, and the three main antagonists are represented, making this the perfect commemorative display set of Stargate SG-1 (the Replicator is maliciously hiding under the ramp).

This gate is brick-built, and has been redesigned to be much sturdier (no unbuildable digital constructs here). As you can see, it also showcases all 39 glyphs, printed across 28 1x2 tiles, for that extra ‘wow’ factor :)

The entire concept is made up of just under 1,000 pieces.
