Hello. I'm Iyan Ha. This project is Castle Dracula.

This castle is a building that does not actually exist.
Without reference, I designed it myself from beginning to end.

I worked with Studio 2.0, a designer program. The submitted photos are rendering images.
A total of 2984 parts were used, including all the parts of the minifigure(1EA) and animals(mouse 1EA, c
row 1EA
)

I have always been interested in Dracula, a story that has been handed down since ancient times.
I think Dracula's lonely and spooky atmosphere is so cool.
Someday, I dream of a magnificent and wonderful castle Dracula being commercialized. So I made this project.
You can also have Dracula and his castle through this project. Let's all go to castle Dracula.
Durability of the building :
It was designed and made as strong as Lego products.
I think that works with good design should eventually be supported by durability.
I kept repeating program work and verification to strengthen the structure of the building while having good design and functions.
The large plates supporting the building is also very firmly fixed to the building, and the building is also very firmly designed.
The walls are designed to hold each other firmly by assembling plates and bricks alternately. Long axles were inserted into the pillars inside the building to reinforce the strength.
Brake function when opening the building :
This castle has a structure in which both rear walls are hinged.
The structure is very unique.
When opening the hinges, the back walls is designed not to touch the trees.
The 45-degree cut surface of the modified facet bricks & cut corner wedge plates accurately contacts the fixed wall and functions as a brake.
When the hinge of the opening rotates 135 degrees, the walls functioning as brakes on both sides meet accurately.
You can safely open the hinges without damaging the trees and the decorations on the exterior walls of the building.
Because of this function, when the wall is opened, the trees and the walls of the building do not collide with each other, and when the wall is closed, you can see a more prominent and cooler exterior and landscape.
I think it's a useful and fun function.
Exterior design :
I designed it as a magnificent yet tense building. I tried to feel like Dracula would live there.
I made it with the idea of a spooky and stylish building.
The castle has a symmetrical structure, a large door entering the entrance, and a veranda exists on the second floor, so Dracula comes out to see the moonlight at night.
Large windows with curtains are placed on the front of the building to add a magnificent feeling. The roofs of the pointed places add tension.
There are scattered chilly trees and chilly plants around the building, adding to the cold feeling of Dracula.
Interior design :
Castle's interior tried to express the elements that might be inside the castle Dracula. Chandeliers using candles from the Middle Ages and lighting using candles are placed everywhere.
I tried to express the times.
On the first floor, there is a crow cage, and there is a statue of a medieval knight.
On the second floor, there is a large chair where Dracula can relax while looking at the moonlight at night. And there are treasure boxes and tables, portraits, and skulls of spooky beasts.
And there is a mouse placed inside the roof.

Minifigure :
Dracula 1EA were used. The parts of all minifigure are represented by genuine Lego(studio 2.0). Dracula's body design used the original Lego design as it was and only created a new face design. The torso design is the vampire's torso design of the mini figure series 2, and the design was not upgraded in Studio 2.0, so it was made and used as a part designer program.

That's all for castle Dracula.
I hope everyone will be the owner of this castle through this project.

I am so grateful to everyone who supports and appreciates and the Lego Ideas team.
